Project & Construction Management Process

Stage One: Consultation

It begins around your kitchen table, where we learn about your vision. We openly discuss your objectives and explain our entire process. Depending on the nature of the project we will generate simple design concepts internally or put you in touch with the many professionals with whom we routinely engage. We conclude this phase by presenting you with a preliminary budget and timeline based on these initial concepts to ensure that we are all on the same page.

Stage Two: Final Design

For smaller renovations where no building permits are required, we will fine tune our drawings and the scope of work as necessary to suit your budget. With a final contract in place, we will begin to mobilize and start your project.
Where permits are required, we will coordinate with the project architect to produce detailed working drawings that form the basis of a final construction budget. Submission for permits can now take place and once in-hand, construction can commence.

Stage Three: Construction

The construction phase begins with an initial site meeting to introduce our experienced project management team who oversees all aspects of construction. We ensure that quality, safety, costs and schedules are monitored and met. Communication is critical and we are here to guide you through the many decisions that will need to be made during the life of your project.
Upon completion we will conduct a thorough walkthrough to detail operating and maintenance items and address any questions you may have. Our goal in constructing your home is to build a lasting relationship in the process.
